Kiril Ribarski
Macedonian trombonist, Kiril Ribarski was born in 1947. He received his Bachelor of Music in Performance from the Ljubljana Academy of Music, Slovenia and Master's Degree in Performance from the Zagreb Academy of Music, Croatia studying under Marcel Fuchs. Formerly Principal Trombonist of the Ljubljana Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, he now serves as Professor of Trombone at UKIM School of Music – Skopje and since 1993 has held the post of Director of Interfest - Bitola, the International Festival of Classical Music.
Kiril has appeared as soloist with the orchestras of Novosibirsk, Belgrade, Macedonia, Zagreb, as well as the Radio and Television Symphonic orchestras of Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Macedonian Radio and Television Chamber Orchestra, Pro Musica-Belgrade, the Zagreb Soloists, and Haute Normandie France. He has presented solo recitals and masterclasses in France, Austria, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Turkey, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Germany, Albania, Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Poland, Spain, Greece, China, Brazil and the United Kingdom. He is recipient of the prestigious 13 November Prize of the city of Skopje and Golden Lyre Award of the Macedonian Music Artists Association. (Weril)
