Registration Location & Times
The ITF Registration Desk is situated in the lobby of the Alta Ham Fine Arts Building (#81 on map) and is open from:

- 8:30am - 2pm
Maps & Performance Venues
As well as the UNLV facilities, we will be utilizing two off-campus venues: Clark County Library (1401 E. Flamingo Road, c. 700 yards) and Capozzoli’s Restaurant (3333 S. Maryland Pkwy, c. 1.5 miles). Maps are available at Registration.
Exhibits
All Exhibits are situated on the First Floor of the Beam Music Center. Sound producing exhibits are in the Band Room, Room 171 and Room 173. Non-sound producing exhibits are located in the Choral Room. Exhibit hours are:

The UCC Complex is comprised of a group of four three-story
buildings, constructed in 1988, each housing approximately 100 guests.
Floors are divided into wings housing eight rooms, 16 guests. Wings
are separated by a lounge area. Each room is approximately 11' X 21'
divided in half by a partial wall forming two semi-private spaces thus
maximizing personal privacy. Each suite shares a balcony. Located within
each building is a coin-operated laundry, study lounge,
and snack vending area.
Check-In: Your stay with Conference Housing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas will begin with check-in at Tonopah Hall (#20 on the map) is located at 1130 University road. Tonopah Hall houses the main Conference Housing Office and is open seven days per week, 24 hours per day. Check-in begins at 12noon.
Check-Out: Conference Agent/participants must check-out by 12noon. Please allow a minimum of fifteen (15) minutes for the check-out process. A late check out charge of $10.00 per person will be charged for all participants who have not vacated the building(s) by the time listed above.
Parking: Parking permits are available for purchase at the Conference Housing Office during guest check-in. Prices are determined based on the guest’s length of stay. Guests may park (with a permit) in several designated lots around campus. Specific lots and detailed parking instructions will be available by the Conference Housing staff at the time of guest check-in. This may include the parking lot adjacent to the Residence Halls, the Student Union parking lot, or the lot adjacent to the Thomas & Mack Center. All buses or large vehicles must park in the Thomas & Mack parking lot. Please do not park in reserved parking areas or spaces marked for faculty and staff. The Conference Housing Office assumes no responsibility for any parking tickets received while on the UNLV Campus.

Directions to Tonopah Conference Housing Office
- From McCarran International Airport:
- Exit the airport via Swenson Street. Turn right on Tropicana Avenue and proceed east two blocks on Tropicana to Maryland Parkway. Turn left on Maryland Parkway and proceed north to University Road (first red light) and turn left onto University Road. Drive straight down University Road and pass two stop signs. The road will dead end and force you to turn right. Tonopah Hall is the large six-story building on the corner, identified by a large banner saying Conference Housing Office.
- From Interstate 15:
- Exit I-15 at the Tropicana Avenue East Exit. Follow Tropicana Avenue (approximately 3 miles) and turn left on Maryland Parkway. Follow the same directions as listed above to the Conference Housing Office.
- From US Highway 93 & 95:
- Exit the Tropicana Avenue West exit and continue on Tropicana Avenue (approximately 6 miles) to Maryland Parkway. Turn right onto Maryland Parkway and follow the directions as listed above.
Miscellaneous Items
Linen Service: Participants will receive bed and bath linens. Maid service is not provided for individual rooms during your stay. Personal care items (not including soap and toilet paper) are not provided. Please bring shampoo, shaving kit, and other items they may need while visiting our campus. There are a few drug and grocery stores nearby (walking distance) if you should need to purchase last minute items. There are no ice machines in the Conference Housing buildings so guests may want to bring a cooler for storing ice, drinks, or food. Refrigerated storage is available for guests needing to store medication in the Conference Housing Office.
Wake-up Calls: The Conference Housing Office does not provide wake-up calls. Guests are encouraged to bring an alarm clock during their stay. Guests that require a very bright light to read by may want to bring a reading lamp if they plan to do late night studying or reading.
Telephones: Telephones are provided in each guest room. Incoming calls can be received and local calls may be placed at no charge to the guest. Long distance calls may only be placed using a calling card or by calling toll free. Pay phones are located in the Moyer Student Union.
Internet Access: Internet Connections are available in all Conference Housing rooms. Guests will be able to activate their Internet Connection during the check-in process. At this time, guests will be supplied with a username and password. This registration system is instant; no pre-arrangements need to be made by guests. Mail: Guests may receive mail and express delivery packages during their stay at UNLV. All envelopes and packages should be addressed in the following manner:

Messages: Messages for guests may be left at the Conference Housing Office. The messages will be posted on the Guest Message Board located in the Tonopah Hall Lobby. Anyone needing to leave a message may call the front desk at (702) 895-5777 or stop by the office. In an emergency, we will make every attempt to locate the guest. To protect our guests’ privacy we will not give out information over the telephone and will only take a message to be relayed to the guest.
Medical Assistance: While we hope there is no need for medical assistance, the following hospitals are in close proximity to the UNLV Campus:

Keys: The participants will be financially responsible for all keys and/or building access cards issued. If keys and/or building access cards are not returned at check-out, participants will be charged for the cost of changing the lock cores as well as replacement costs for lost keys and/or building access cards.
Other Information: The temperature during the summer months is consistently between 105 – 110 degrees daily with lows in the 80’s. For guests not accustomed to the desert climate, it will be very important to drink plenty of fluids and carry bottled water during your stay. The Las Vegas Valley is located at approximately 3,000 feet above sea level and guests may want to pace themselves until they adjust to the altitude and heat.
If guests choose to visit the Las Vegas Strip, they will need to take precautions to secure purses/wallets and stay in well lighted areas at all times. Minors are welcome in the casinos but are not allowed in the gaming areas, including video poker and slot machines.
