Jesper Juul was born in 1973 and is a graduate from The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus – later he studied in Paris, Chicago and Copenhagen. Jesper Juul was appointed principal trombonist of The Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra in 1996. Jesper is a pricewinner in ARD Wettbeverb,” ”CIEM-Geneve”, Nordisk Solistbienale, ”Juventus-France”, ”TIJI-European Broadcast Union”. Jesper Juul is beside his many activities as trombone soloist a popular conductor – as well as being newly appointed artistic director for The Regimental Band of his Royal Highness the Prince. Jesper Juul has appeared as a soloist at the ITF in 2000.
